PLANNING & DESIGN
The process of designing a new die begins as soon as a
final part print is received. All key departments evaluate the proposed die
design, and review production, and quality requirements from there a production plan
is formulated.
This plan is Danco’s guide to producing the right
parts, on time.
Our engineering department uses AutoCAD and Windows NT
workstations to design all tooling and components. This technology permits
easier and more efficient communication of design details to shop floor
personnel.
All designs
and programs are saved and stored on a networked server for recall anytime
a replacement component or design change is required. This helps speed delivery
of repair parts in an emergency, and saves valuable programming time.
All files are copied and stored off-site for safety.
